Answer, You can use it with or without the flat bottom piece or you can flip it upside down. There’s no other adjust setting

Q4, How does it get raised and lowered? Can you do that with your feet while it's on the floor?

Answer: The bottom platform zips on and off to give you the elevation. Once off you flip it so the rounded side is on the floor. This is PERFECT!!! I purchased this for my home office, so comfortable so your legs and feet don't tire from being in the sitting position or 8 to 12 hours.

Answer: 2 inches

Q6, What is the density of the foam?

Answer: It is firm. Your feet will not squish into it like a memory foam, yet it is comfortable. Highly recommend!
